I upgraded my amateur radio workstation today with a mixing desk and switchable medium-duty dummy load.

I can cover most of the frequencies within the HF spectrum, as well as the VHF and UHF ^,==,^

Someone on the 20 meter band, possibly from Finland, telling everyone to stay home >,==,>

Some images that I received over (frequency was 14230 kHz) yesterday. I started my 📻 at a very active time ^,==,^

Discussion of a new generation of software that I'm authoring...

This is the VHF/UHF antenna itself! With many thanks to @hiddensoul () for donating both it and the radio 📻 transceiver over to me, to keep indefinitely 📡

I have to thank Ian () as well, who helped me install everything today regarding the aforementioned bands ^,==,^

My new command center ^,==,^ Featuring a FT7900R for VHF/UHF and a FT-450D for shortwave.

I should be prepared for the oncoming apocalypse now, at least when concerning how many are being infected with the :(

#HamRadio power supply has been repaired! I'm also sick 😫

Just did some before my brother woke up, since his notebook's power supply interferes heavily on the HF bands.

I was able to send out some pictures with the callsign in that time and receive two back! ^,==,^

Some curious interference tonight which makes for a pretty spectrograph, or at least it does so in my opinion. Now we just need some activity :P

I quite often wish that wasn't as dead as it is :( I really enjoy(ed) that mode and the sheer convenience it offers, but it only lasted a few months before everyone moved onto what seems to be, Greener pastures.

*sighs* Oh well...

@hiddensoul said that he'd help me test the THD (i.e. Total Harmonic Distortion) of my sound system sometime, which is just so cool to think of! ^,==,^

I forget the equipment that he mentioned which is involved, but admittedly, it is a bit beyond me with my electrical skills >,==,>;;

Most of what I've learned is through experimentation with and with creating little circuits in .

But yeah, this is something I'm looking forward to~!

So my renewal notice came today for my license and wow, look at that warning for operating equipment while unregistered. You've got to love that... pay up or there'll be dire consequences >,==,>

We are always coppin' it with unregulated devices whether it be in the United States, United Kingdom, Australia, etc. We have a particularly good organization here in Aussieland called RASA (The Radio Amateur Society of Australia Inc.) which tests devices for harmful emissions and then reports them to the government as needed, but more needs to be done.
